Basic and Applied Science Research at the Los Alamos Neutron Science Center

The Los Alamos Neutron Science Center, or LANSCE, is an accelerator‐based national user facility for research in basic and applied science using four experimental areas. LANSCE has two areas that provide neutrons generated by the 800‐MeV proton beam striking tungsten target systems. A third area uses the proton beam for radiography.
