Bisphenol A (BPA), a common chemical in plastics, exerts dual effects on bladder cancer cells: low doses promote growth and migration, while high doses suppress growth and migration. Multi‐omics and bioinformatics reveal BPA acts via MAPK and inflammatory pathways.

14‐day casting‐induced immobilization reduced gastrocnemius muscle mass and increased non‐heme iron and ferritin heavy chain levels. Despite iron accumulation, transferrin receptor 1 and iron regulatory protein 2 were paradoxically upregulated. Lipid peroxidation was elevated without compensatory antioxidant responses.

Prediction maps as a gateway to better understand and test scientific theories
Scientific theories aim to explain and predict phenomena, yet assessing how experimental evidence impacts a theory remains a significant challenge. This is particularly evident in the psychological and cognitive sciences, where a lack of formal models and precise quantitative predictions often obscures the "centrality" of a given hypothesis for the ...

Mass spectrometry based identification of AMP‐O‐Tris generated by Thermococcus onnurineus Cas10
Isolated Thermococcus onnurineus Cas10 generates the noncanonical ATP‐derived product AMP‐O‐Tris while in Tris‐containing buffer as identified via mass spectrometry, revealing relaxed nucleophile selectivity under isolated conditions. These findings suggest that multiprotein Csm complex assembly restricts Cas10 reactivity toward canonical cyclic ...
