Bone scintigraphy in hypervitaminosis A
The diagnosis of vitamin A intoxification may be difficult at the time of initial presentation. The radionuclide bone scan in cases of vitamin A toxicity may serve as a more sensitive indicator of the presence of this disease than radiographs in the initial evaluation and follow-up of patients with skeletal involvement.
