VENTILATION/PERFUSION SCINTIGRAPHY
Emergency Medicine Clinics of North America, 2001V/Q imaging is often very useful in evaluating patients in whom a PE is suspected. Skeletal scintigraphy in pachydermoperiostosis
European Journal of Nuclear Medicine, 1981Skeletal scintigraphic findings and radiographic correlation in a 39-year-old patient with pachydermoperiostosis are described. Although the literature suggests that pachydermoperiostosis is associated with decreased blood flow, enhanced activity was observed in the patient's bone scan. This apparent discrepancy is discussed.
