Characteristics of 3D Printed Plastic Scintillator [PDF]
Digital Light Processing (DLP) 3D printing technique can be a powerful tool to fabricate plastic scintillator with a geometrically desired shape in innovatively fast time. Plastic scintillator with the size of 30 mm × 30 mm × 10 mm was fabricated by using the plastic resin and the DLP 3D printer (ASIGA, Pico2HD).

Characteristics of VHF scintillations in the equatorial anomaly crest region in India [PDF]
The characteristics of ionospheric scintillations at Rajkot in the equatorial anomaly crest region in India are described for the years 1987–1991 by monitoring the 244-MHz transmission from the satellite FLEETSAT.

Free-space optical communication employing subcarrier modulation and spatial diversity in atmospheric turbulence channel [PDF]
An expression for the bit error rate of a multiple subcarrier intensity-modulated atmospheric optical communication system employing spatial diversity is derived. Spatial diversity is used to mitigate scintillation caused by atmospheric turbulence, which

Scintillation characteristics of the EJ-299-02H scintillator
A study of the dead layer thickness and quenching factor of a plastic scintillator for use in ultracold neutron (UCN) experiments is described. Alpha spectroscopy was used to determine the thickness of a thin surface dead layer to be 630 ± 110 nm.

Characteristics of Ionospheric Scintillation in Chengdu, China [PDF]
Abstract. When wireless electromagnetic waves pass through the earth's atmosphere, they are affected by ionospheric irregularities, and their amplitude and phase will jitter rapidly in a short period of time, which is called ionospheric scintillation.

Temperature dependence of CsI(Tl) gamma-ray excited scintillation characteristics [PDF]
The gamma-ray excited, temperature dependent scintillation characteristics of CsI(Tl) are reported over the temperature range of -100 to + 50[deg]C. The modified Bollinger-Thomas and shaped square wave methods were used to measure the rise and decay ...

Observations and modeling of UHF-band scintillation occurrence probability over the low-latitude region of China during the maximum activity of solar cycle 24 [PDF]
The climatological characteristics of UHF-band scintillations over the low-latitude region of China were investigated by analyzing the observations recorded at three stations of our regional network of satellite-beacon-based scintillation monitoring in
