Deciphering the Immunomodulatory Function of GSN+ Inflammatory Cancer‐Associated Fibroblasts in Renal Cell Carcinoma Immunotherapy: Insights From Pan‐Cancer Single‐Cell Landscape and Spatial Transcriptomics Analysis

open access: yesCell Proliferation, EarlyView.
Pan‐cancer scRNA‐seq and ST‐seq analyses identify GSN+ inflammatory cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) and their spatial distribution in immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) therapy. The Caf.Sig model accurately predicts ICI response across cancers using CAF gene signatures and machine learning.

Development of the alcohol‐free and low‐alcohol drinks market in Great Britain from 2011 to 2022: Narrative timelines based on a documentary review of off‐trade retail magazines and market intelligence reports

open access: yesDrug and Alcohol Review, EarlyView.
Abstract Issue There is a growing alcohol‐free and low‐alcohol (no/lo) drinks market in Great Britain. Insight about when this emerged and how it has developed is needed to inform and interpret the growing body of research into the use of no/lo drinks. We therefore document the development of the no/lo market in Great Britain between 2011 and 2022 and ...

PI5P4K inhibitors: promising opportunities and challenges

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
Developing inhibitors is like climbing a steep, challenging mountain. PI5P4K inhibitors hold significant promise for the treatment of cancer, immune disorders, and neurological diseases. However, the path to success is fraught with hurdles, and researchers are therefore required to apply their expertise to overcome critical “checkpoints.” While some ...

Gαs‐specific structural elements attenuate interactions with regulator of G protein signaling (RGS) proteins

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
Heterotrimeric (αβγ) G proteins are usually inactivated by regulators of G protein signaling (RGS) proteins, but Gαs is an exception. Comparative structural analysis identified unique Gαs structural elements that may interfere with RGS binding. Mutagenesis and biochemical assays showed that three residues in the Gαs GTPase domain are both necessary and

Comparison of treatment‐emergent resistance‐associated mutations and discontinuation due to adverse events among integrase strand transfer inhibitor‐based single‐tablet regimens and cabotegravir + rilpivirine for the treatment of virologically suppressed people with HIV: A systematic literature review and network meta‐analysis

open access: yesHIV Medicine, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective This study evaluated rates of treatment‐emergent resistance‐associated mutations (TE‐RAMs) and discontinuation due to adverse events (DC‐AEs) across integrase strand transfer inhibitor (INSTI)‐based single‐tablet regimens and injectable cabotegravir + rilpivirine (CAB + RPV) in virologically suppressed people with HIV.

Recovery and protection of photo‐damaged hairs with keratin‐encapsulated cationic liposomes

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cosmetic Science, EarlyView.
Homogeneous and highly stable cationic liposomes encapsulated with keratin were fabricated using the high‐pressure homogenization method, which could improve the adherence of keratin on the hair cuticle and its penetration into hair fibres, thereby effectively enhancing the recovery of photo‐damaged hair.
