On the Mode of Action of Scopulariopsis brevicaulis Proteinase

open access: yesAgricultural and Biological Chemistry, 1965
An attempt was made to examine the detailed specificity of crystalline Scopulariopsis brevicaulis (Prot. II) proteinase by using the oxidized A- and B-chain of bovine insulin, and the resulting peptides or amino acids in each hydrolyzate were qualitatively deter-mined by column chromatography.

Scopularides A and B, Cyclodepsipeptides from a Marine Sponge-Derived Fungus, Scopulariopsis brevicaulis

open access: yes, 2016
Two novel cyclodepsipeptides, scopularides A and B, were found in the fungus Scopulariopsis brevicaulis, which was isolated from the marine sponge Tethya aurantium. In addition, the known fungal metabolite paxilline was identified.

Urea treatment of barley grain. Effect on storage properties and fungal growth

open access: yesAgricultural and Food Science, 1986
Barley harvested at three different moisture contents (22, 25 and 32 %) was treated with varying levels of urea (1.0, 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5 % on fresh weight basis) and stored aerobically in experimental silos of 400 liters. The chemical composition of barley
