Journal of Computational Chemistry, Volume 47, Issue 23, September 5, 2026.Eighty‐eight novel energetic compounds based on 5‐H‐imidazo‐[4,5‐c]pyridazine and 1,2,4‐triazolo‐[4,3‐a]pyrazine scaffolds, functionalized with nitro, nitramino, azido, and nitrate ester groups, were theoretically evaluated by DFT. Nine candidates surpassed RDX in density and detonation performance while maintaining acceptable impact sensitivity.
