Multifocal Kaposiform Hemangioendothelioma Successfully Treated With Sirolimus Monotherapy
ABSTRACT Kaposiform hemangioendothelioma (KHE) is a rare vascular tumor that typically presents in infancy and may be associated with the Kasabach–Merritt phenomenon (KMP). We present a challenging case of multifocal KHE on the leg of an infant, initially suspected at birth to be a reticulate port wine birthmark.

This study evaluated the combined effects of antimicrobial photodynamic therapy (aPDT) and systemic resveratrol on bone repair around immediately placed implants in type 2 diabetic rats. Resveratrol improved glycemic control and body weight, while aPDT increased implant stability and bone mineralization.

Presentation, diagnosis and treatment of a prostatic abscess in an adult, male, neutered cat
Abstract A 6‐year‐old, male, neutered Maine Coon cat presented with a 1‐week history of hyporexia, stranguria, pollakiuria and dysuria. Investigations, including abdominal ultrasound, positive contrast retrograde urethrocystogram and cytology of the prostate, were most consistent with a prostatic abscess.
