Copper‐based composites enhanced with carbon feature convenient mechanical properties and favorable electric conductivity. Processing via deformation and thermomechanical treatments can introduce advantageous microstructures further enhancing their performance. Herein, copper–graphene powder‐based composites are directly consolidated via rotary swaging

Glyptic Findings with Anatolian Hieroglyphs from Kilis – Oylum Höyük
The archaeological excavations at Oylum Höyük were started in 1987 by Prof. Dr. Engin Özgen. Since 2012, they have been carried out by Prof. Dr. Atilla Engin. During these excavations, a total of eight seals or seal impressions with Anatolian hieroglyphs

Microstructure Evolution of a VMnFeCoNi High‐Entropy Alloy After Synthesis, Swaging, and Annealing
The synthesis and processing (rotary swaging and annealing) of the novel VMnFeCoNi alloy is investigated, alongside the estimation of the grain size effect on hardness. Analysis of a wide grain size range of recrystallized microstructures (12–210 µm) reveals a low annealing twin density.

Identification of lubrication Regimes in Mechanical Seals using Acoustic Emission for Condition Monitoring [PDF]
The quality of lubrication condition between seal faces directly affects the reliability, operating life and sealing performance of mechanical seals. Thus, the identification of lubrication regimes in face seals i.e.

The separation of Helium gas from natural gas is challenging but highly important. MIL‐116(Ga), a “non‐porous” metal–organic framework is used as a molecular sieve to separate He from CH4. Druse‐like MIL‐116(Ga) particles are integrated into polysulfone mixed matrix membranes.

Testing of turbulent seals for rotordynamic coefficients [PDF]
A facility has been developed for dynamic testing of straight and convergent tapered seals with the capability of measuring the radial and tangential force components which result from a circular centered orbit. The test apparatus causes the seal journal
