Acquisition of the Flight Information Using the KSR-3 Agnetometer [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Astronomy and Space Sciences, 2003
The KSR-3 magnetometers consist of the fluxgate magnetometer (MAG/AIM) for acquiring the rocket flight attitude information, and the search-coil magnetometer (MAG/SIM) for the observation of the Earth's magnetic fluctuations.

Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields: A Novel Attractive Therapeutic Opportunity for Neuroprotection After Acute Cerebral Ischemia

open access: yesNeuromodulation: Technology at the Neural Interface, EarlyView., 2021
Abstract Objectives Acute cerebral ischemia is characterized by several pathological processes evolving during time, which contribute to the final tissue damage. Secondary processes, such as prolonged inflammatory response, impaired mitochondrial function and oxidative stress, are responsible for the progression of brain injury to the peri‐infarct area,

The electromagnetic anomalies recorded by CSES during Yangbi and Madoi earthquakes occurred in late May 2021 in west China

open access: yesNatural Hazards Research, 2022
s: This work analyzed the electromagnetic field (EM) anomalies recorded by the electric field detector (EFD) and the search coil magnetometer (SCM) onboard the China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite (CSES) during the two earthquakes (EQ), which are the ...

A calibration facility for search coil magnetometers [PDF]

open access: yesMeasurement Science and Technology, 2002
A calibration facility for search coil magnetometers (SCMs) has been built at Niemegk Geomagnetic Observatory, GeoForschungsZentrum Potsdam. I describe here the commissioning of this facility. The usable frequency range of 10 mHz-100 kHz enables calibration of all standard types of SCM.

Diurnal behaviour of the ionospheric Alfvén resonator signatures as observed at high latitude observatory Barentsburg (L=15) [PDF]

open access: yesAnnales Geophysicae, 2008
The signature of the ionospheric Alfvén resonator (IAR), so called spectral resonant structures (SRS) in the spectra of the electromagnetic noise in the range of 0.1–10 Hz is rather frequently observed with the search coil magnetometer at observatory ...

A Low-cost Electromagnetic Docking Guidance System for Micro Autonomous Underwater Vehicles

open access: yesSensors, 2019
As important observational platforms for the Smart Ocean concept, autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) that perform long-term observation in fleets are beneficial because they provide large-scale sampling data with a sufficient spatiotemporal resolution.

Development of chopper-stabilized ASIC preamplifier for improving noise equivalent magnetic induction of search coil magnetometer probing space plasma waves

open access: yesEarth, Planets and Space, 2023
Space-based search coil (SC) magnetometers connected to preamplifiers have been used to investigate magnetic field vectors of plasma waves from 100 mHz to 10 kHz for understanding magnetospheric dynamics.

Chorus source region localization in the Earth's outer magnetosphere using THEMIS measurements [PDF]

open access: yesAnnales Geophysicae, 2010
Discrete ELF/VLF chorus emissions, the most intense electromagnetic plasma waves observed in the Earth's radiation belts and outer magnetosphere, are thought to propagate roughly along magnetic field lines from a localized source region near the ...
