The Approach to Seasonal Unemployment in the Nordic Countries: A Comparison with Canada [PDF]
This paper compares policies with respect to seasonal unemployment in the five Nordic countries with Canada. A key finding of this study is that unlike Canada Nordic countries do notspecifically address seasonal employment.

Seasonal integration and the evolving seasonals model
International Journal of Forecasting, 1997 Abstract The paper uses a model of seasonality popular in the 1960s, the evolving seasonals model, to explore issues relating to testing for unit roots in seasonal time series. The model is used to show how data can be transformed in such a way that tests for seasonal integration simply become those for regular unit roots.
