Coexisting Basal Cell Carcinoma and Squamous Cell Carcinoma in Congenital Nevus Sebaceous
Nevus sebaceous is a congenital epidermal hamartoma characterized by hyperplastic changes to the epidermis and adnexa. Nevus sebaceous is associated with an elevated risk of cutaneous neoplasms, most often benign; however, malignant neoplasms, most notably basal cell carcinoma, can also present in these patients.

Endocytic Control of Cell‐Autonomous and Non‐Cell‐Autonomous Functions of p53
NUMB Ex3‐containing isoforms localize to the plasma membrane, where they recruit p53 through SNX9 and direct it to multivesicular bodies and exosomes. Exported p53 is taken up by neighboring cells and activates nuclear programs, revealing an intercellular, exosome‐based pathway that might help establish a tumor‐suppressive microenvironment.

Characterization of hair-follicle side population cells in mouse epidermis and skin tumors. [PDF]
A subset of cells, termed side-population (SP), which have the ability to efflux Hoeschst 33342, have previously been demonstrated to act as a potential method to isolate stem cells. Numerous stem/progenitor cells have been localized in different regions

Netrin‐1 expression is upregulated in hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) during metabolic dysfunction–associated steatohepatitis and injury‐mediated liver fibrosis. Secreted Netrin‐1 establishes an autocrine positive feedback loop by binding to UNC5B receptors on HSCs.

NuSAP Safeguards Centriole Integrity to Mediate CEP57‐CEP152 Torus Recruitment for Proper Engagement
This study reveals a novel role for the microtubule stabilizer NuSAP at centrioles. NuSAP depletion destabilizes the centriole's tubulin structure, causing premature disengagement, PCM defects, and mis‐localization of the CEP57‐CEP63‐CEP152 complex. By reinforcing centriole architecture, NuSAP enables early CEP57 loading and initiates a newly proposed ...
