Sebaceous Cell Carcinoma of the External Auditory Canal

Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, 1981
Sebaceous cell carcinoma is an extremely uncommon tumor; fewer than 100 cases have been reported, with most of these lesions arising in the meibomian glands in the tarsal plates. Other sites in the head and neck have been noted, but this is the first reported case originating in the external auditory canal.

Nevus sebaceous associated with basal cell carcinoma

Journal of Medical Society, 2020
Nevus sebaceous of Jadassohn is a congenital, uncommon hamartomatous lesion of the epidermis, dermis, and appendages with the predominance of sebaceous elements. This hamartoma has the capacity to develop benign as well as malignant neoplasms, but the malignant transformation is rare.

Merkel cell carcinoma is occasionally associated with other types of cutaneous malignancies including squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma and lentigo maligna. We report a case of Merkel cell carcinoma co‐existent with sebaceous carcinoma in the right upper eyelid of a 61‐year‐old Japanese man. Histopathologically, the resected tumor consisted

Basal Cell Carcinoma with Sebaceous Differentiation

2017
Basal cell carcinoma with sebaceous differentiation shows the same clinical and histopathologic characteristics of a basal cell carcinoma, and the sebaceous differentiation usually is a focal histopathologic finding that has no clinical or prognostic significance.

Sebaceous Basal Cell Carcinoma - An Ultrastructural Study

Proceedings, annual meeting, Electron Microscopy Society of America, 1982
Basal cell carcinoma with sebaceous gland differentiation has been described in mice and humans but spontaneous skin tumors of this type are uncommon in the rat.The tumor specimen was taken from a 26 month old male Wistar rat. Electron microscopy specimens were fixed by immersion in cacodylatebuffered 4% glutaraldehyde, post-fixed in 1% osmium ...

Basal Cell Carcinoma Arising in Nevus Sebaceous during Childhood

Pediatric Dermatology, 2008

Immunohistochemical Staining of Sebaceous Cell Carcinoma of the Eyelid

Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, 1989
We characterized the inflammatory infiltrate of two sebaceous cell carcinomas of the eyelid with immunohistochemical staining to determine the functional class of the mononuclear cells associated with the tumor. The results were compared with the inflammatory infiltrate associated with basal cell carcinomas.
