Flame retardant PPE/SEBS composites applied for high strength cable sheath

open access: yesPolymers and Polymer Composites
The halogen-free flame retardant (HFFR) polyphenylene ether (PPE)/styrene-ethylene/butylene–styrene block copolymer (SEBS) composites had been prepared using the melting compounding method by a twin-screw extruder. The thermal stability, flame retardancy,

“Who Is Watching me?”: Recovering the Grammar of Stigma in Interaction

open access: yesSymbolic Interaction, EarlyView.
This article offers a praxeological respecification of stigma. I argue that the term “stigma” is a category term and glossing device, used to gather together and stand in for a diverse range of interactional experiences, including, but not limited to, degradation, discrediting, discrimination, marginalization, and being demeaned.

Temporary Employment and First‐Time Homeownership in Australia

open access: yesAustralian Economic Review, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Research Questions How does temporary employment, that is, fixed‐term contract and casual employment, affect the transition into first‐time homeownership among young people in Australia? Does the effect differ by employment type, gender, relationship situation, or parents' socio‐economic status?

Autosomal Dominant Hyper‐IgE Syndrome Patients Retain IL10‐Producing preTh17‐Cells That Are Activated by Opportunistic Pathogens and Support IgE Production

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
IL‐10 producing CCR6+Th‐cells are central memory T‐cells that express ROR‐γt and differentiate to Th17‐cells via an autocrine loop of STAT3‐activating cytokines (preTh17). STAT3‐deficient AD‐HIES patients lack Th17‐ and Tfh17‐cells but retain preTh17‐ and Th1/17‐cells.

Diverging in Vivo Immune Response Patterns After Oral Food Challenge in Peanut Allergic Adults

open access: yesClinical &Experimental Allergy, EarlyView.
After the oral food challenge, peanut (PN)‐allergic adults were monitored over 4 weeks, which revealed diverging immune response patterns, with strong responders (SR) exhibiting heightened Ara h 2+ B cell expansion, PN sIgE induction and increasing PN‐specific Tconv. Weak responders (WR) had more activated PN‐specific Tregs.

A Theoretical Approach for Structuring and Analysing Knowledge Provenance for Visual Analytics

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
VAKG unfolds the interactions within the current knowledge model (A) into a temporal knowledge graph (B), which is structured as a 4‐way graph containing two temporal (green) and two static (yellow) knowledge graphs. By using VAKG, one can structure and store the user's knowledge‐gathering process and all related interactions for eventual analysis (C).

Speed Bump and Stock Market Quality: Evidence From NYSE American

open access: yesFinancial Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Should trading speed of high‐frequency traders be regulated? Using the data from the New York Stock Exchange American, this paper examines the impact of a speed bump on market liquidity and price discovery. Our results indicate that the use of a speed bump can lower the costs of adverse selection through reducing informed trading.

BLIMP‐1 and CD39 expression define human effector memory regulatory T cells in blood and recall responses to viruses

open access: yesImmunology &Cell Biology, EarlyView.
This study found that BLIMP‐1 is highly expressed in activated effector/memory human regulatory T cells, especially CD39+ Tregs, where it is associated with increased IL‐10 production and a conserved phenotype across blood and lung tissues during immune responses such as SARS‐CoV‐2 infection.

Preparation and Thermal Storage Performance Optimization of PA/SEBS Composite-Shaped Phase Change Materials

open access: yesZhileng xuebao
To address the low thermal storage performance of solid-liquid phase change composites caused by the encapsulation composite effect, composite-shaped phase change materials based on paraffin (PA)/hydrogenated styrene-butadiene block copolymer (SEBS) were
