Composite second-generation current-conveyor with variable current and voltage gains
Analog Integrated Circuits and Signal Processing, 1996A new composite second-generation current-conveyor is proposed. The proposed circuit uses three second-generation current-conveyors and four grounded resistors and exhibit constant bandwidth property while the dc current and voltage gains can be independently controlled using grounded resistors. Simulation results which confirm the presented theory are

Realizations of fully differential voltage second generation current conveyor with an application
International Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications, 2008AbstractThree novel CMOS realizations for the fully differential voltage second‐generation inverting current conveyor (FDVCCII‐) are proposed in this paper. The first realization has a limited input range, and the other two realizations have a rail to rail input range and show excellent features in linearity and bandwidth.

Design of second-generation current conveyors employing bacterial foraging optimization
Microelectronics Journal, 2010The present paper deals with the optimal sizing of CMOS positive second-generation current conveyors (CCII+) employing an optimization algorithm. A contemporary non-gradient stochastic optimization algorithm, called bacterial foraging optimization (BFO) algorithm, has been employed to obtain the optimal physical dimensions of the constituent PMOS and ...

Noise Determination in Differential Pair-Based Second Generation Current Conveyors
Analog Integrated Circuits and Signal Processing, 2004The aim of this paper is to give simple design guidelines for the noise evaluation in differential pair-based second generation current conveyors (CCIIs). Input noise voltage and current have been expressed in terms of some well known constants and MOS gm values, so allowing a very fast estimation of the noise level.

A combined first- and second-generation current conveyor structure
International Journal of Electronics, 1995Abstract The definition of both first-generation (CCI) and second-generation (CC11) current conveyors is presented and it is shown how a translation between first- and second-generation conveyors can be achieved using multiple output conveyors. Some basic concepts relating to second-generation CMOS current conveyor design are briefly reviewed and ...

A Neural Network-Based Design Automation of a Second Generation Current Conveyor
2014 International Conference on Computational Science and Computational Intelligence, 2014An artificial neural network approach for the automated design of a positive type second generation current conveyor is presented in this paper. A multi-layer perceptron structure is successfully employed to estimate the corresponding transistor dimensions for a given set of desired performance criteria of the circuit.

New Design Technique of Dual-Output Second Generation Current Conveyor
2008 First International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering and Technology, 2008In this paper, a new dual-output second generation current conveyor (DO-CCII) circuit based-on resistive compensation technique is proposed. The resistive compensation technique is very simple and powerful technique used to improve bandwidth of CMOS DO-CCII without extra power consumption. PSpice simulations for MIETEC 0.5 mum CMOS technology show that

Second Generation Controlled Current Conveyors (CCCII) and Their Applications
2014An interesting method of realizing electronically-controllable functions is through the use of the translinear current conveyor which is implemented from a mixed translinear cell (MTC). This implementation exhibits an input resistance looking into terminal X which is electronically-controllable and hence, it is referred to as the Second generation ...

Active on-chip voltage regulator based on second generation current conveyor
2013 IEEE 20th International Conference on Electronics, Circuits, and Systems (ICECS), 2013Voltage regulators are used to provide a stable power supply to the microprocessor. The conventional off-chip switching voltage regulator comprises of a passive floating inductor, which is difficult to be implemented inside the chip due to excessive power dissipation and parasitic effects. Additionally, the inductor takes very large chip area hampering
