Multi-objective optimization of second generation current conveyors by the ACO technique

2012 International Conference on Multimedia Computing and Systems, 2012
A multi-objective optimization algorithm, based on the Ant Colony Optimization technique (MOACO), to deal with the transistor sizing of CMOS Current Conveyors is presented. The main objectives are a minimal parasitic X-port resistance Rx and a maximal current high cut off frequency fci.

On the frequency limitations of the circuits based on second generation current conveyors

Analog Integrated Circuits and Signal Processing, 1995
An equivalent circuit for the translinear implementation of the second generation current conveyors with positive or negative current transfer is given. This circuit takes into account the various parasitic elements of the conveyor which induce frequency limitations (gain values, poles of the transfers, and parasitic impedances).

Pulse Width Modulator Based on Second Generation Current Conveyor

2014 International Conference on Devices, Circuits and Communications (ICDCCom), 2014
Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) is a technique of changing ON and OFF time period of a waveform without changing its frequency or otherwise it is a series of pulses with different duty cycle time in the fixed period time, while duty time stands for the proportion of 'ON' time in the period.

Macromodel circuit for BiCMOS second generation current conveyor (CCII)

Proceedings of the Eighteenth National Radio Science Conference. NRSC'2001 (IEEE Cat. No.01EX462), 2002
In this paper, a macromodel for a BiCMOS CCII is introduced. The macromodel can be used in the simulation of circuits employing a large number of BiCMOS CCIIs in order to avoid any convergence problems and to speed up the simulation time as well. The simulation results show a good agreement between the proposed macromodel and the actual CCII circuits.

The inverting second generation current conveyors as universal building blocks

AEU - International Journal of Electronics and Communications, 2008
Abstract The inverting second generation current conveyor ICCII includes two types. This paper concentrates on the two new types of the inverting current conveyor namely ICCII + and ICCII - . Although it may seem that there is only minor difference between the two types, there is a significant difference as will be evident from some ...

Frequency Analysis of Class AB Second Generation Current Conveyors

Korea Institute of Information Technology Review, 2013
Frequency responses of the transconductors implemented with conventional and new CCIIs have been analyzed theoretically. The new class AB second generation current conveyor has two inputs and three output terminals and consists of two unity-gain buffers and six current mirrors.
