Parabolic equations with the second-order Cauchy conditions on the boundary [PDF]
The paper studies some ill-posed boundary value problems on semi-plane for parabolic equations with homogenuous Cauchy condition at initial time and with the second order Cauchy condition on the boundary of the semi-plane. A class of inputs that allows some regularity is suggested and described explicitly in frequency domain.

A Universal van der Waals Tunneling Injector for Monolayer CMOS
A universal van der Waals injector unlocks polarity‐flexible tunneling contacts for monolayer CMOS. SnSe2, an intrinsically degenerate 2D semiconductor, establishes polarity‐specific band alignments with both WSe2 and MoS2 channels, enabling steep switching, high on/off ratios, and a unified route to low‐power 2D logic.

We study initial-boundary value problems for fractional parabolic equations with the Dirichlet-Neumann conditions. We obtain a stable difference schemes for this problem, and obtain theorems on coercive stability estimates for the solution of the ...

On a comparison theorem for parabolic equations with nonlinear boundary conditions
In this article, a new type of comparison theorem for some second-order nonlinear parabolic systems with nonlinear boundary conditions is given, which can cover classical linear boundary conditions, such as the homogeneous Dirichlet or Neumann boundary ...

A Cryopreservation‐Based Supply Chain Strategy for Extrusion Bioprinting in Space
Extrusion bioprinting on crewed space platforms requires a bioink that stays functional along the logistic chain. Here, cells and biomaterial ink travel separately, the cells cryopreserved and the ink cold stored, and are combined only minutes before printing.

Quasilinear Evolution Equations in LμP-Spaces with Lower Regular Initial Data
We study the Cauchy problem of the quasilinear evolution equations in Lμp-spaces. Based on the theories of maximal Lp-regularity of sectorial operators, interpolation spaces, and time-weighted Lp-spaces, we establish the local posedness for a class of ...

Helix Alignment, Chevrons, and Edge Dislocations in Twist‐Bend Ferroelectric Nematics
The recently discovered twist‐bend ferroelectric nematic (NTBF) is the new member of the multiferroic family, representing a fluid with an oblique helicoidal (heliconical) periodic structure of spontaneous electric polarization. The work presents a thorough exploration of the material properties of this phase, how the periodic modulation of ...

A parabolic-hyperbolic free boundary problem modeling tumor growth with drug application
In this article, we study a free boundary problem modeling the growth of tumors with drug application. The model consists of two nonlinear second-order parabolic equations describing the diffusion of nutrient and drug concentration, and three ...
