A modified numerov integration method for general second order initial value Problems
International Journal of Computer Mathematics, 1991We present an implicit eighth-order finite difference method for the general second order non-linear differential equation Yn=f(t,y,y) subject to the initial conditions y(to) =yo, y(to)=yO. The method is based on mixed interpolation containing a parameter which can be used to improve the accuracy.

Periodic signal frequency tracking via a shifted second-order generalized integrator
2013 Africon, 2013Second-order generalized integrators have been extensively used for the frequency estimation of periodic input signal. In this paper a novel structure is proposed by considering two additional parameters into the estimation scheme. This results in frequency tracking processes that sensibly attenuate overshooting phenomena affecting the classical ...

Discrete-time implementation of second order generalized integrators for grid converters
2008 34th Annual Conference of IEEE Industrial Electronics, 2008Second order generalized integrators (SOGI) have been proposed to obtain zero steady-state error using stationary frames in grid-converters applied to active rectifiers, active filters, uninterruptible power supplies and distributed generation. These integrators have been also included in algorithms of grid synchronization, detection of sequences ...

A novel power calculation method based on second order general integrator
2016 IEEE 8th International Power Electronics and Motion Control Conference (IPEMC-ECCE Asia), 2016The droop control method has been widely applied in parallel inverters. However, the stability and performance of droop control are strongly influenced by speed and accuracy of the power calculation. The conventional power calculation method has the disadvantages of slow dynamic response, heavy memory burden and one fundamental delay.

2020 International Conference on Smart Technologies in Computing, Electrical and Electronics (ICSTCEE), 2020
This study presents a multifunctional inverter for a three – phase single – stage grid – connected SPV system with SO-SOGI based control algorithm. The SOSOGI based quadrature signal generation (QSG) estimates the magnitude of source voltage and load current signal and phase – locked loop (PLL) estimates phase angle of the grid voltage. This estimation

FPGA implementation of harmonic detector based on Second Order Generalized Integrators
2008 34th Annual Conference of IEEE Industrial Electronics, 2008A system-on-chip harmonic detector, based on FPGA technology, is proposed in this paper by using second order generalized integrators (SOGI). Two structures denominated DSOGI-QSG (dual SOGI- quadrature signal generation) tuned to a specific frequency allow detecting the positive and negative sequences of the specified harmonic.

Conservation Law Classification and Integrability of Generalized Nonlinear Second-Order Equation
Communications in Theoretical Physics, 2011This paper is concerned with the generalized nonlinear second-order equation. By the direct construction method, all of the first-order multipliers of the equation are obtained, and the corresponding complete conservation laws (CLs) of such equations are provided. Furthermore, the integrability of the equation is considered in terms of the conservation

A Second-Order Generalized Integrator Frequency Locked Loop With Damping Ratio Adaptation
IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 2022The complex and ever-changing harmonics in grid voltage will cause performance deterioration of the frequency-locked loops (FLLs). Although various measurements had been adopted to attenuate the deterioration, they had to make the trade-off between the dynamic and steady-state characteristics generally.

Second order generalized integrator based synchronization technique for polluted grid conditions
2017 2nd International Conference for Convergence in Technology (I2CT), 2017Grid synchronization algorithms are of great importance in the control of grid-connected power converters, as fast and accurate detection of the grid voltage parameters is crucial in order to implement stable control strategies under generic grid conditions.
