Extraction of local spin-coupled states by second quantized operators

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 2022
We present a methodology for analyzing chemical bonds embedded in the electronic wave function of molecules, especially in terms of spin correlations or so-called “local spin.” In this paper, based on biorthogonal second quantization, the spin correlation functions of molecules are naturally introduced, which enables us to extract local singlet and ...

Second Quantization Operators for Spin Operators

Journal of the Physical Society of Japan, 1992
Based on the commutation relations of spin operators, the second quantization operators derived by Holstein-Primakoff and Dyson and its Hermitean conjugate operators are obtained. The matrix representations for a scalar product of two spins by the Dyson's operators are not in agreement with the rigorous one except for the case of spin 1/2, although ...

Second quantization and pseudodifferential operators

Theoretical and Mathematical Physics, 1986
In the article infinite-dimensional pseudodifferential operators are investigated. The main formulas of the calculus of these pseudodifferential operators are obtained. The so-called Schrödinger's qp-symbols for secondary quantization operators and for operators of an evolution of interacting fields are considered.

Remarks on the operator of second quantization

Reports on Mathematical Physics, 1977
Abstract In this paper there is given a complete classification of the domains of the operator of second quantization corresponding to an arbitrary self-adjoint operator in a separable Hilbert space. This gives a complete description of the structure of these domains.

Explicit Construction of the Second-Quantized Anyon Operators

Journal of the Physical Society of Japan, 1995
Summary: Creation and annihilation operators of anyons are constructed explicitly by using vertex operators for the Calogero-Sutherland-Moser model.

Generalization of the second quantization operators: Electron attachment and detachment operators

International Journal of Quantum Chemistry, 1979
AbstractThis paper proposes a method for the generalization of the second quantization operators. The method is based on two main hypotheses: (i) the same form of the correlation operator, which is good for closed‐shell systems is chosen and (ii) a system of equations is given to calculate the differences (xk0−xk1), which characterize both attachment ...

Second quantization of an arbitrary operator

Proceedings of the Physical Society, 1966
The representation of an arbitrary operator in second quantization is obtained for both fermion and boson systems by using the isomorphism between second quantization and a graded configuration space.

Representation of the spin operator in the spin-free second quantized approach

Journal of Molecular Structure: THEOCHEM, 1998
Abstract This paper reports the representation of the spin operation S 2 , corresponding to an N-electron system, using the spin-free second quantization formalism. This approach allows to determine, in a suitable way, the S-representability of the second order reduced density matrix.

Second Quantization of the General Many Fermion Operator

Proceedings of the Physical Society, 1963
The second-quantized equivalent of the general particle-conserving operator in the configuration space of Slater determinants is found by a direct calculation. The usual one- and two-particle operators are found as special cases and their equivalence with the corresponding configuration-space operators is thus shown without a lengthy comparison of ...
