The Third Order Jacobsthal Octonions: Some Combinatorial Properties
Various families of octonion number sequences (such as Fibonacci octonion, Pell octonion and Jacobsthal octonion) have been established by a number of authors in many di erent ways.

The galls of cynipid species (Hymenoptera: Cynipidae) have been used since ancient times as an important source of bioactive compounds. Many researchers have evaluated the medicinal potential of some cynipid galls and found that these galls have numerous

Stress and defense responses in plant secondary metabolites production
In the growth condition(s) of plants, numerous secondary metabolites (SMs) are produced by them to serve variety of cellular functions essential for physiological processes, and recent increasing evidences have implicated stress and defense response ...

Circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopy is a widely used method to study the protein secondary structure. However, for decades, the general opinion was that the correct estimation of β-sheet content is challenging because of the large spectral and ...

A note on the Fourier coefficients of a Cohen-Eisenstein series
We prove a formula for the coefficients of a weight $3/2$ Cohen-Eisenstein series of square-free level $N$. This formula generalizes a result of Gross and in particular, it proves a conjecture of Quattrini. Let $l$ be an odd prime number.

Irreducibility of Polynomials over Global Fields is Diophantine
Given a global field $K$ and a positive integer $n$, we present a diophantine criterion for a polynomial in one variable of degree $n$ over $K$ not to have any root in $K$.

Biodiversity recovery of Neotropical secondary forests
Tropical secondary forests recover quickly (decades) in tree species richness but slowly (centuries) in species composition. Old-growth tropical forests harbor an immense diversity of tree species but are rapidly being cleared, while secondary forests ...

Deuring for the People: Supersingular Elliptic Curves with Prescribed Endomorphism Ring in General Characteristic [PDF]
Constructing a supersingular elliptic curve whose endomorphism ring is isomorphic to a given quaternion maximal order (one direction of the Deuring correspondence) is known to be polynomial-time assuming the generalized Riemann hypothesis [KLPT14; Wes21],

Anti-tori in square complex groups
An anti-torus is a subgroup $$ in the fundamental group of a compact non-positively curved space $X$, acting in a specific way on the universal covering space $\tilde{X}$ such that $a$ and $b$ do not have any commuting non-trivial powers.
