MECHANISMS OF CHROMATIN ENGAGEMENT BY THE VACCINIA-RELATED KINASE AND M-PHASE PHOSPHOPROTEIN 8 [PDF]
Understanding how chromatin proteins engage with their nucleosome substrate is essential to delineating their functions within chromatin, and how this function is disrupted in human disease states. In Chapters 2 and 3, we have characterized the mechanism

Modified rush venom immunotherapy in dogs with Hymenoptera hypersensitivity
Background – Hymenoptera envenomation occurs frequently in people and dogs and can trigger anaphylaxis. Venom immunotherapy (VIT) is the only preventative treatment for Hymenoptera hypersensitivity and is indicated for people with severe adverse reactions to insect stings. Rush VIT is an accelerated VIT induction schedule performed in people.

Background – A rebound of pruritus occasionally occurs after oclacitinib dose reduction in dogs with atopic dermatitis (AD). Objectives – To determine whether an initial 4‐day course of prednisolone decreases the probability of a pruritus rebound after reducing the frequency of oclacitinib administration.

Evaluation of hypochlorous acid as an ear flush in dogs with chronic otitis externa
Abstract Background Chronic otitis externa (OE) in dogs frequently requires anaesthetised ear flushing. Objectives To evaluate hypochlorous acid as an ear flushing and antimicrobial agent in dogs with chronic OE. Animals Twenty dogs with chronic OE caused by the same organisms bilaterally.

Brachycephaly in French bulldogs and pugs is associated with narrow ear canals
Background Brachycephalic dog breeds have multiple skull malformations which may lead to anatomical changes in the external auditory canal. It is our frequent observation that in the otoscopic examination of the external ear in these breeds we are unable to visualise the tympanic membrane as a consequence of extreme narrowing of the proximal ear canal.

Background – Interleukin (IL)‐31 is an important mediator in canine atopic dermatitis (cAD) and also may be dysregulated in other allergic diseases. Hypothesis/Objectives – To demonstrate the efficacy and safety of lokivetmab (canine anti‐IL‐31 monoclonal antibody) for treatment of pruritus associated with allergic dermatitis in dogs.

The article is motivated by the recently published studies on injective and projective hypermodules. We present here a new characterization of the normal injective hypermodules. First we define the concept of zero-divisors over a hypermodule and based on

On the hypergroup property [PDF]
International audienceThe hypergroup property satisfied by certain reversible Markov chains can be seen as a generalization of the convolution related features of class random walks on groups.Carlen, Geronimo and Loss~\cite{MR2764893} developed a method ...

In this paper, we introduce a geodesic metric space called generalized Cayley graph (gCay(P,S)) on a finitely generated polygroup. We define a hyperaction of polygroup on gCayley graph and give some properties of this hyperaction.

Almost principal ideals and tensor product of hyperlattices
In this paper, by considering the notion of congruences on hyper- lattices we define almost principal ideals on hyperlattices. We investigate some properties and prove some results about them.
