Secondary controlled motors in speed and torque control
This article deals with the control of variable displacement units connected to a constant pressure net. In particular the dynamical behaviour of two coupled secondary units in a speed- and torque control circuit is described and the decoupling of the two motors by the control technique is demonstrated.

Multirobot Heterogeneous Control Considering Secondary Objectives [PDF]
Cooperative robotics has considered tasks that are executed frequently, maintaining the shape and orientation of robotic systems when they fulfill a common objective, without taking advantage of the redundancy that the robotic group could present.

The Role of “Adult‐Onset” Cancer Predisposition Genes in Pediatric Cancer: A Comprehensive Review
ABSTRACT Current literature estimates that 10% of pediatric cancers are caused by pathogenic or likely pathogenic (P/LP) germline variants in cancer predisposition genes (CPGs). Variants in CPGs thought to increase cancer risk exclusively during adulthood are referred to as “adult‐onset” CPGs (aoCPGs).

Health Literacy, Self‐Efficacy and Knowledge of Sickle Cell Disease Among Caregivers
ABSTRACT Background Sickle cell disease (SCD) is a hereditary blood disorder in which abnormal haemoglobin leads to severe anaemia, painful crises and organ failure. Caregivers’ health literacy (HL) – their ability to assess, understand and apply information, and interact with healthcare professionals – is crucial for managing children with SCD, yet ...

For islanded microgrids (MGs), distributed control is regarded as a preferred alternative to centralized control for the frequency restoration of MGs. However, distributed control with successive communication restricts the efficiency and resilience of ...

Distributed Secondary Control Method for Islanded Microgrids With Communication Constraints
In this paper, a two-layer model for islanded microgrids with communication constraints is proposed, where a key component of the model is a top layer communication network composed of agents over the bottom layer microgrid.

ABSTRACT Background Leukemia is the most common childhood cancer in Mexico, and acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is the most frequent subtype. Exposure to high concentrations of benzene has been associated with ALL incidence, particularly in urban areas. This study evaluated the relationship between distance to benzene emission sources and the number

Predefined-Time Adaptive Virtual Synchronous Generator Secondary Control for Microgrids
The traditional secondary control method for virtual synchronous generators suffers from limitations such as slow dynamic response and poor adaptability under varying operating conditions, which significantly affect the reliability and stability of ...

The hierarchical control architecture, including layers of primary, secondary and tertiary controls, is becoming the standard operating paradigm for microgrids (MGs). Two major factors that limit the adoption of existing hierarchical control in microgrid
