Multiagent Based Distributed Control with Time-Oriented SoC Balancing Method for DC Microgrid

open access: yesEnergies, 2020
Based on the droop control, voltage regulation at the secondary control is required to eliminate the deviation of the average voltage across the microgrid. Meanwhile, to prevent any of energy storage (ESs) from over-charging or over-discharging, State-of-

Clinical and Biological Features of Response in Resistant Neuroblastoma to 131I‐Metaiodobenzylguanidine Radiotherapy in the Anti‐GD2 Immunotherapy Era

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background 131I‐metaiodobenzylguanidine (131I‐MIBG) radiotherapy is a key treatment for relapsed and refractory (R/R) neuroblastoma (NB). Patients with R/R disease treated in the modern era are increasingly exposed to anti‐GD2 immunotherapy, which exerts selective pressure and may modify both tumor cell state and microenvironment.

Optimal secondary control for DC microgrids

open access: yes2016 IEEE 25th International Symposium on Industrial Electronics (ISIE), 2016
In this paper, DC microgrids are modeled as parallel interconnection DC/DC converters. Classical control of such a topology uniformly distributes the total current over branches. This paper demonstrates that such a strategy does not minimize the overall losses when heterogeneous converters are considered.

Hospitalization Through Families’ Eyes: Comparing Inpatient Care Quality for Children With Sickle Cell Disease and Cystic Fibrosis in Canada

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Sickle cell disease (SCD) is a chronic, inherited hemoglobinopathy that requires frequent hospitalization for disease‐related complications. Canadian data on inpatient care is limited. This study compared caregiver‐reported hospital experiences of children with SCD to those with cystic fibrosis (CF), a chronic, autosomal recessive ...

Distributed voltage and frequency synchronisation control scheme for islanded inverter-based microgrid

open access: yesIET Smart Grid, 2018
This study presents a fully distributed control paradigm for secondary control of islanded AC microgrid (MG). The proposed method addresses both voltage and frequency restoration for inverter-based distributed generators (DGs).

Venous Thromboembolism in Pediatric Bone Sarcoma Patients: A 10‐Year, Single‐Institution Experience Encompassing the COVID‐19 Pandemic

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Osteosarcoma (OS) and Ewing sarcoma (EWS) are the most common primary bone cancers in children, but acute thrombosis is poorly characterized in this population. Our study evaluated the rates of venous thromboembolism (VTE) and associated risk factors in pediatric patients with bone sarcomas treated over a 10‐year period encompassing

Distributed Secondary Control Method for Islanded Microgrids With Communication Constraints

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
In this paper, a two-layer model for islanded microgrids with communication constraints is proposed, where a key component of the model is a top layer communication network composed of agents over the bottom layer microgrid.

Serological Benefit of SARS‐CoV‐2 Vaccination Relative to Infection in Children With Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) are at risk of severe outcomes from SARS‐CoV‐2 (SCV2). In the post‐pandemic context, where most children have been infected with SCV2, there are limited data on whether vaccination remains beneficial in children with ALL.

Distributed Event-Triggered Control for Frequency Restoration in Islanded Microgrids with Reduced Trigger Condition Checking

open access: yesCSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems
For islanded microgrids (MGs), distributed control is regarded as a preferred alternative to centralized control for the frequency restoration of MGs. However, distributed control with successive communication restricts the efficiency and resilience of ...

Consensus Control of Distributed Energy Resources in a Multi-Bus Microgrid for Reactive Power Sharing and Voltage Control

open access: yesEnergies, 2018
The hierarchical control architecture, including layers of primary, secondary and tertiary controls, is becoming the standard operating paradigm for microgrids (MGs). Two major factors that limit the adoption of existing hierarchical control in microgrid
