Secondary Electron Yield of Graphite and TiC Coatings
Fusion Technology, 1984Transmission of microwave radiation at the lower hybrid frequency may induce multipactor breakdown in the coupling structure of a tokamak machine. To increase the R.F. power throughput to a plasma, secondary electron emission on the waveguide walls and subsequent electron multiplication which cause multipactor breakdown effect must be reduced.

Origin of secondary-electron-emission yield-curve parameters
Journal of Applied Physics, 1975From an analysis of the one-dimensional constant-loss theory of secondary electron emission, maximum yield (δm), primary electron energy at maximum yield (Eom), and both crossover energies EIoc and EIIoc are shown to depend on the surface and bulk properties of the emitting material through simple relations.

A secondary electron emission correction for quantitative auger yield measurements
Surface Science, 1980Abstract The Auger electron yield from the de-excitation of L 2,3 core holes of Cu is determined, in the approximation of isotropic emission, from the integral of the characteristic (elastic) Auger emission. The characteristic emission function is obtained from the secondary electron spectrum in two steps: First, the cascade background at a given ...
