Loss of SHP1 in Spinal Astrocytes Triggers T‐Lymphocyte Infiltration and Nociceptive Hypersensitivity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Astrocyte‐specific SHP1 deletion disrupts astrocyte–vascular interactions and compromises BBB integrity while enhancing STAT1‐dependent CXCL10 expression. These changes synergistically promote peripheral CD4+ and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration into the SDH. The infiltrating T cells secrete IFN‐γ, which in turn activates microglia.

Rhoifolin Alleviates Ulcerative Colitis by Targeting NMNAT1 and Activating SIRT1‐FOXO1 Signaling to Enhance ILC3s Effector Function

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Rhoifolin directly targets NMNAT1, thereby activating nicotinamide salvage pathway and promoting intracellular NAD+ biosynthesis. Elevated NAD+ levels enhance SIRT1 activity, leading to FOXO1 deacetylation and nuclear translocation. Nuclear FOXO1 subsequently binds to the IL‐22 promoter, upregulating IL‐22 transcription and potentiating ILC3 effector ...

METTL7A Downregulation Drives SLC1A5‐Mediated Glutamine Competition to Promote Tumor Proliferation and Suppress CD8+ T Cell Immunity in Gastric Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
GC cells enhance glutamine accumulation by upregulating SLC1A5 expression. This upregulation not only boosts GC cell proliferation, but also outcompetes CD8+ T cells for glutamine and suppresses their antitumor immunity. Mechanistically, METTL7A deficiency in GC induces SLC1A5 overexpression via an m6A‐dependent pathway and N‐glycosylation ...

Recovery of forest structural complexity during secondary succession in a human‐modified neotropical landscape

open access: yes
Forest structural complexity is an essential determinant of forest ecosystem functions and biodiversity. The natural dynamics of structural complexity of tropical forests remain largely unexplored, especially for naturally regenerating forests during ...

Phytosociology and structure in a alluvial deciduous forest fragment in Santa Maria - RS = Fitossociologia e estrutura de um fragmento de Floresta Estacional Decidual Aluvial em Santa Maria - RS

open access: yesAgro@mbiente On-line, 2013
The forest environments are profoundly altered, mainly due to human action. Specially the alluvial forests, which by its location and ecological function should be preserved and restored, for that it is essential to know the phytosociological and forest ...

Nanoparticle‐Mediated TIPE1 mRNA Delivery Enhances Paclitaxel Sensitivity in Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer by Modulating RAB7A Ubiquitination‐Associated Stability and Autophagy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
TIPE1m NPs nanoparticles restore TIPE1 expression, promote RAB7A ubiquitination and degradation, suppress autophagic flux, and resensitize paclitaxel‐resistant triple‐negative breast cancer to therapy. ABSTRACT Acquired paclitaxel (PTX) resistance remains a major obstacle in triple‐negative breast cancer (TNBC) treatment.

TSTScope Unifies Single‐Cell Multi‐Omics to Identify Functional T Cell States Predictive of Immunotherapy Response

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
TSTScope is an interpretable AI framework that integrates single‐cell transcriptomes with TCR information through curated gene‐program constraints. By linking receptor context to functional T cell states, it reveals response‐associated tumor‐specific T cell programs in lung cancer immunotherapy cohorts and defines an MPR score associated with ...

Limitations to fungal diversity in forest soil during secondary succession

open access: yesEcography
The Bass Becking and Beijerinck theory of the microbial world that ‘everything is everywhere but the environment selects' has provided a basis to test microbial ecological theory for almost a century (Baas Becking 1934). Applying theory to the apparent chaos of the microbial world is arduous, and applying rules that guide our ...
