UiO‐66 metal–organic frameworks in biomedicine: From structural tunability to bioimaging, photodiagnostics, and photodynamic cancer therapy

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
UiO‐66(Zr) metal–organic frameworks are chemically stable, biocompatible, and highly tunable nanomaterials. Their modular structure enables controlled drug delivery, multimodal bioimaging, and light‐activated photodynamic therapy, supporting integrated diagnostic and therapeutic (theranostic) applications in cancer and biomedical research.

A Two-Layer Control Strategy for the Participation of Energy Storage Battery Systems in Grid Frequency Regulation

open access: yesEnergies
A two-layer control strategy for the participation of multiple battery energy storage systems in the secondary frequency regulation of the grid is proposed to address the frequency fluctuation problem caused by the power dynamic imbalance between the ...

Aquaporin‐3 and aquaporin‐5 impact the development of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma spheroids

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Schematic representation of the role of aquaporin‐3 (AQP3) and aquaporin‐5 (AQP5) in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). Both proteins are upregulated in PDAC and are associated with tumor progression and metastatic potential. Silencing AQP3 or AQP5 in PDAC spheroids results in decreased diameter, area, and overall growth, underscoring their key ...

Characteristic analysis for multisampled digital implementation of fixed-switching-frequency closed-loop modulation of voltage-source inverter

open access: yes, 2009
In this paper, a fixed-switching-frequency closed-loop modulation of a voltage-source inverter (VSI), upon the digital implementation of the modulation process, is analyzed and characterized.

Method for Two-Stage Radar Measurement of the Blade Repetition Rate of a Propeller-Driven Aircraft

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений России: Радиоэлектроника
Introduction. Radar images of aircraft propellers can significantly improve the quality of their recognition and protection against simulating interference. Such images can be obtained using algorithms based on an inverse antenna aperture synthesis.

Hyperosmotic stress‐induced redistribution of pre‐mRNA cleavage factor I subunits is associated with shifts in alternative polyadenylation

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Hyperosmotic stress triggers the relocation of the CFIm complex from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. This shift creates a nuclear ‘stoichiometric bottleneck’, limiting CFIm availability for mRNA processing. Consequently, specific mRNAs like NUDT21 and DICER1 undergo targeted 3′UTR shortening, demonstrating how spatial protein dynamics drive rapid ...

Loss of AMBRA1 activates MAPK and angiogenesis signaling pathways in melanoma cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Loss of AMBRA1 in melanoma cells activates multiple oncogenic pathways associated with tumor progression. Transcriptomic and protein network analyses revealed that AMBRA1 depletion enhances MAPK/ERK signaling, angiogenesis, TGF‐β/EMT signaling, and Wnt/axon guidance pathways.

Optimum Mode-Switching-Assisted Constant-Power Single- and Multicarrier Adaptive Modulation

open access: yes, 2003
A set of optimum mode-switching levels is derived for a generic constant-power adaptive-modulation scheme based on a closed-form expression of the average bit error ratio (BER) and the average bits-per-symbol (BPS) throughput of the adaptive-modulation ...

Measurement method for repetition frequencies of the blades of an aerial vehicle on the base of the convolution of the «secondary» modulation spectrum

open access: yesДоклады Белорусского государственного университета информатики и радиоэлектроники, 2019
A novel measurement method for repetition frequencies of the blades of an aerial vehicle (in part, helicopter's main and tail rotor) for adaptation circuits of the radar sensor with an inverse synthesis of antenna aperture is proposed.

Effects of IGFBP4 deficiency on human preadipocyte proliferation and differentiation through the IGF1R/AKT pathway

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
IGFBP4 knockdown (KD) impairs preadipocyte proliferation and is associated with IGF1R protein downregulation and attenuated AKT phosphorylation. The mechanisms by which IGFBP4 KD influences the IGF1R/AKT signaling pathway involve newly synthesized proteins and lysosomal degradation pathways. Created in BioRender.
