From Materials to Systems: Challenges and Solutions for Fast‐Charge/Discharge Na‐Ion Batteries
This review systematically analyzes the key characteristics limiting the fast‐charge/discharge capability of Na‐ion batteries (SIBs) from a multi‐scale perspective encompassing electrode materials, the electrode‐electrolyte interface, and the system. Furthermore, it presents practical solution strategies for the fundamental issues arising at each scale,

Are Secondary Workers Informal Workers? Evidence for Argentina [PDF]
Empirical studies attempting at testing dualism in developing countries often rely on an ex-ante definition of the primary and the secondary sector. Many times this methodology causes biases in the estimation due to sample selection problems.

A combination of discrete and finite element method models for the current collector deformation and electrochemical performance analysis, respectively. The models are calibrated and validated with electrochemical and imaging data of hard carbon electrodes. These electrodes were manufactured with different parameters (slurry solid contents of 35 and 40

High‐Performance Noble‐Metal‐Free Perovskite Solar Cells Enabled by MoOX/Cr/Al Multilayer Electrodes
Cost‐effective perovskite solar cells (PSCs) are developed using a noble‐metal‐free MoOX/Cr/Al multilayer electrode. The devices achieve a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 25.6%, competitive with that of Au‐based devices (26.3%), and a 25.5 cm2 mini‐module shows 21.3% PCE.

ABSTRACT Rice is the main staple food for more than half of the world's population and the income from rice is an essential source for livelihoods of millions of households. We examine whether direct seed in rice production is an adaptation of rice farmers to rainfall changes and farm labor scarcity.

How much competition is a secondary market? [PDF]
Do active secondary markets aid or harm durable goods manufacturers? We build a dynamic equilibrium model of durable goods oligopoly, with consumers who incur lumpy costs when transacting in the secondary market, and calibrate it to U.S.

ABSTRACT In recent decades, agriculture has become increasingly concentrated through horizontal mergers and acquisitions via corporate entities, and policy makers are concerned this will be exacerbated by the aging population of farm operators. To reduce market concentration in agriculture, many states have enacted policies to entice new prospective ...
