Nondestructive Testing of Welded Composite Metal Foams
X‐ray computed tomography (CT) is used to evaluate welded steel–steel composite metal foam (CMF) joints of two density classes. It reports variation in postweld spatial void distribution and correlates it to weld‐induced changes, mechanical performance, and failure within welded CMF panels.

Electrified Damage in Motion Systems
The electrified damage in motion systems is a fundamental framework presenting the degradation pathway arising from the coupling of electrical energy transport with mechanical contact and interfacial chemistry. The framework positions electrified damage as a distinct degradation regime with unique characteristic surface morphologies and failures of ...

From Food to Power: Hydrogel Thermoelectrics for Ingestible Electronics
We introduce a fully edible thermoelectric–electrochromic platform that harvests heat from food and converts it into a visible color change. N‐type and p‐type hydrogel thermoelectric generators connected in series power anthocyanin‐based electrochromic displays, demonstrating the feasibility of safe, biodegradable, ingestible systems for on‐food ...

The secrecy capacity of block fading multiuser wireless networks
The resilience of block fading wireless orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) networks to passive eavesdroppers is investigated. The network secrecy capacity is evaluated in scenarios involving a base station and several terminals, some ...

Secure Performance of STAR-RIS Aided Networks With a Full-Duplex Active Eavesdropper
Unlike prior works assuming perfect attack detection, this paper investigates the physical layer security of a simultaneous transmitting and reflecting reconfigurable intelligent surface (STAR-RIS) aided network under a full-duplex active eavesdropper in

Wafer‐scale two‐dimensioanl In2Se3 oxidized into InOx on sodium‐embedded beta‐alumina enables multifunctional reconfigurable electronics. Sodium ions accumulate within distinct spatial distribution under drain‐controlle and gate‐controlled operation. Drain‐control operation gives controllability of ultraviolet‐driven optoelectronic synaptic conductance

This paper presents a digital microfluidics‐based technique for transferring and reconfiguring soft nanomembranes. Laser‐machined nanothin membranes are picked up, transported, and aligned via tailored surface tension and the actuation of water droplets, enabling the development of flexible electronics, the integration of functional materials on 3D ...

Secrecy Capacity Region of Some Classes of Wiretap Broadcast Channels
International audienceThis paper investigates the secrecy capacity of the wiretap broadcast channel (WBC) with an external eavesdropper where a source wishes to communicate two private messages over a broadcast channel (BC) while keeping them secret from
