Asymmetry in Skipping Enhances Viability Against Control Input Noise

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Quadruped animals use asymmetric galloping gaits at high speeds, yet the functional role of this asymmetry remains unclear. This study shows that left–right asymmetry in touchdown angles enhances robustness to control noise. Using a simple two‐legged locomotion model and viability theory, it demonstrates that asymmetric skipping substantially enlarges ...

Peningkatan Kapasitas Penyisipan Audio Data Hiding Berbasiskan Modifikasi Metode Least Significant Digit

open access: yesJurnal Nasional Teknik Elektro dan Teknologi Informasi, 2017
Nowadays, the needs of data security is proportional to the amount of data usage as the effect from easiness in internet access. There are many ways to protect data in order to avoid data leakage, such as cryptography, watermarking, and data hiding.

A Perspective on Interactive Theorem Provers in Physics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Into an interactive theorem provers (ITPs), one can write mathematical definitions, theorems and proofs, and the correctness of those results is automatically checked. This perspective goes over the best usage of ITPs within physics and motivates the open‐source community run project PhysLean, the aim of which is to be a library for digitalized physics

Data Secrets: The Data Act’s New Trade Secrets Framework

open access: yesIIC - International Review of Intellectual Property and Competition Law
Abstract The recently adopted Data Act (DA) introduces a novel regulatory framework governing certain data access, reuse, and portability rules in the European Union. Central to this framework is the role of trade secrets (TS), which reflects the delicate balance existing between obligations to share data and the imperative to protect ...

Radiotherapy Enhances the Oncolytic Efficacy of the Novel Oncolytic Herpesvirus VG161 and Amplifies Its Antitumor Immunity in Breast Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
RT promotes VG161 replication in BC and its immunostimulatory transgenes expression, which is mediated by the upregulation of GADD34 and HVEM caused by RT. The combination therapy with VG161 and RT increases the abundances of tumor‐infiltrating lymphocytes and elicits potent systemic antitumor immunity, thereby effectively inhibiting local tumors and ...

IoT-Applicable Generalized Frameproof Combinatorial Designs

open access: yesIoT, 2023
Secret sharing schemes are widely used to protect data by breaking the secret into pieces and sharing them amongst various members of a party. In this paper, our objective is to produce a repairable ramp scheme that allows for the retrieval of a share ...

SIRT6‐Mediated Deacetylation of ATF3 Promotes Silica‐Induced Lung Fibrosis by Enhancing its Nuclear Import via Binding to Importin α

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
SIRT6‐mediated ATF3 acetylation drives MGARP transcription and mitochondrial dysfunction in macrophages, promoting macrophage senescence and pulmonary fibrosis. Mechanistically, HSP70/Importin α competitively binds to ATF3, modulating its nuclear translocation.
