Sector Coupling: Concepts, Potentials and Barriers

2020 AEIT International Annual Conference (AEIT), 2020
The present paper summarizes the analysis of the Task Force of WG1 experts of the ETIP SNET platform that prepared a position paper aimed at describing the pathway to enable an integration of different energy carriers in order to support the achievement of the goals of the energy transition in 2050.

Coupling charmonium to the charmed-meson sector

Physical Review D, 1985
The cc-bar states of charmonium are coupled by means of the pair production of light quarks to charmed-meson states. The coupling operator is derived from a reduction of the Feynman amplitude for pair production. The potential and wave functions used are those of the Stanley-Robson model. Energy shifts for the first three J/sup P/ = 1/sup -/ states are

Fock-space coupled-cluster method: The (1,2) sector

Physical Review A, 1993
The coupled-cluster method with single and double excitations is applied to the (1,2) sector of the Fock space, the sector of one valence hole and two valence particles added to a closed shell. The coupled-cluster equations in the (1,2) sector are linear and are solved directly.

Coupling Resonances in Spiral Sector Accelerators

Review of Scientific Instruments, 1961
Theoretical and computational results are presented to illustrate the behavior of single particle motion in spiral sector FFAG accelerators of small flutter factor when operated in the neighborhood of vertical-radial coupling resonances. The theoretical analysis proceeds from the approximation in which the radial motion is determined without ...

Coupling of Power and Heating Sector – Opportunity for Heating Sector Development

2021
European Union has set ambitious decarbonization goals under Green Deal, therefore, Latvia needs to search for solutions on how to move towards reaching the said goals. Although renewable energy share in Latvia is one of the highest among the European Union countries, it is mostly due to historic heritage, not as the result of implementing meaningful ...

Plasmon coupling in the double-sector structure

Optical Review, 2017
A silver nanostructure consisting of double sectors is proposed in this paper. In addition, the plasmon resonance and electric field enhancement have been investigated theoretically. It is found that, in this structure, the multiple resonances produce, which is tunable by the parameter of the structure.
