Quantum secure protocols for multiparty computations

open access: yesJournal of Information Security and Applications
Secure multiparty computation (MPC) schemes allow two or more parties to conjointly compute a function on their private input sets while revealing nothing but the output. Existing state-of-the-art number-theoretic-based designs face the threat of attacks through quantum algorithms.

Secure Multiparty Computation with Partial Fairness

open access: yesIACR Cryptol. ePrint Arch., 2010
A protocol for computing a functionality is secure if an adversary in this protocol cannot cause more harm than in an ideal computation where parties give their inputs to a trusted party which returns the output of the functionality to all parties. In particular, in the ideal model such computation is fair -- all parties get the output.

A Formal Model for Secure Multiparty Computation

open access: yesCoRR, 2023
Although Secure Multiparty Computation (SMC) has seen considerable development in recent years, its use is challenging, resulting in complex code which obscures whether the security properties or correctness guarantees hold in practice. For this reason, several works have investigated the use of formal methods to provide guarantees for SMC systems ...

Concretely efficient secure multi-party computation protocols: survey and more

open access: yesSecurity and Safety, 2022
Secure multi-party computation (MPC) allows a set of parties to jointly compute a function on their private inputs, and reveals nothing but the output of the function. In the last decade, MPC has rapidly moved from a purely theoretical study to an object

On the Necessity of Rewinding in Secure Multiparty Computation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
We investigate whether security of multiparty computation in the information-theoretic setting implies their security under concurrent composition. We show that security in the stand-alone model proven using black-box simulators in the information-theoretic setting does not imply security under concurrent composition, not even security under 2-bounded ...

Sustainable Development and Value Co‐Creation in International Business‐to‐Business Contexts: An Empirical Analysis in the Nonwoven Industry

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Regulations and the collective influence of the value chain compel business‐to‐business (B2B) actors within the nonwoven (NW) manufacturing industry to drive sustainable development. However, the literature rarely addresses how B2B actors aim to align with sustainable development to co‐create value and what challenges they face.
