The anatomy of exhumed river-channel belts: Bedform to belt‐scale river kinematics of the Ruby Ranch Member, Cretaceous Cedar Mountain Formation, Utah, USA [PDF]
Many published interpretations of ancient fluvial systems have relied on observations of extensive outcrops of thick successions. This paper, in contrast, demonstrates that a regional understanding of palaeoriver kinematics, depositional setting and ...

Extragalactic background light inferred from AEGIS galaxy-SED-type fractions [PDF]
Theextragalacticbackgroundlight(EBL)isoffundamentalimportancebothforunderstanding the entire process of galaxy evolution and for"-ray astronomy, but the overall spectrum of the EBL between 0.1 and 1000µm has never been determined directly from galaxy ...

Using online metabolite data from the first few days of a bioreactor run, the digital shadow can forecast the cell concentration in real‐time with an accuracy of 13% (standard deviation ≈ 6%). These predictions can guide the optimal harvest time of CAR T cells for subsequent re‐infusion into the patient.

Sound Event Detection with Sequentially Labelled Data Based on Connectionist Temporal Classification and Unsupervised Clustering [PDF]
Sound event detection (SED) methods typically rely on either strongly labelled data or weakly labelled data. As an alternative, sequentially labelled data (SLD) was proposed.

Promising Prodiginins Biological Activities
ABSTRACT Prodiginins are a large family of at least 34 pyrrolic compounds, including the well‐studied red pigment prodigiosin. Prodiginins are produced by several microorganisms displaying broad biological activities, including antimicrobial, antiviral, antiparasitic, antiproliferative, and immunosuppressive activities.

Selective Light‐Driven CO2 to CO Reduction by a [FeFe]‐Hydrogenase Mimic in Water
Highly selective light‐driven CO2 conversion to CO is achieved using an [FeFe]‐hydrogenase‐inspired molecular dyad (PS‐CAT) acting simultaneously as photosensitizer and catalyst. The presence of water as a solvent is important for such selectivity. Assembling the PS‐CAT in the hydrophobic part of lipid bilayers of liposomes allows the use of water as a

Modeling the HD32297 Debris Disk with Far-IR Herschel Data [PDF]
HD32297 is a young A-star (~30 Myr) 112 pc away with a bright edge-on debris disk that has been resolved in scattered light. We observed the HD32297 debris disk in the far-infrared and sub-millimeter with the Herschel Space Observatory PACS and SPIRE ...

Amyloid‐Related Imaging Abnormality (ARIA) Beyond the APOE‐ε4 Allele
Mechanism of action of monoclonal antibodies targeting Aβ in the treatment of AD. (A) Targets of various mAbs. (B) Mechanism of monoclonal antibody‐mediated clearance of Aβ. mAbs facilitate the clearance of Aβ by enhancing microglial‐mediated phagocytosis through the upregulation of TREM2 expression.
