Calculation of longshore sediment transport
Oceanology, 2014Calculation approaches to longshore transport of sandy sediments are discussed. The estimation of the total sediment transport rate is shown to be possibly based on the so-called CERC formula, where the proportionality factor K should be calculated from relationships of Bayram et al. [8] or Leont’yev [4].
