Surface and subsurface engineering geological mapping for empirical designs of excavation method and support system of Tunnel 6 of Jakarta-Bandung high speed railway, Indonesia [PDF]
Empirical design of support system at the Tunnel 6 of the Jakarta – Bandung high-speed railway was based on the Basic Quality (BQ) system, which had not been adopted in Indonesia.

Overcoming Challenges of Teaching Earth History Classes for Teachers in a Rock-free, Urban Environment [PDF]
Instructing university-level Earth history to future teachers is made all the more difficult when it is being done in an urban environment devoid of any local rock outcroppings.

Mars sedimentary rock erosion rates constrained using crater counts, with applications to organic matter preservation and to the global dust cycle [PDF]
Small-crater counts on Mars light-toned sedimentary rock are often inconsistent with any isochron; these data are usually plotted then ignored. We show (using an 18-HiRISE-image, >10^4 crater dataset) that these non-isochron crater counts are often well-fit by a model where crater production is balanced by crater obliteration via steady exhumation. For

Provenance of sedimentary rocks [PDF]
Understanding the origins, or provenance, of a sedimentary deposit is an important aspect of geology. Sedimentary rocks are derived from the erosion of other rocks and thus provide important records of the geological environment at the time they were ...

Biointerfacing with AgBiS2 Quantum Dots for Pseudocapacitive Photostimulation
It is demonstrated that AgBiS2 quantum dots exhibit unique photoinduced pseudocapacitive charge transfer properties, enabling efficient light‐to‐electrical energy conversion. These quantum dots facilitate enhanced light absorption and transduction when integrated with ZnO nanowires, which serve as an effective charge transport medium.
