Analysis of Phytocannabinoids in Hemp Seeds, Sprouts and Microgreens

Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis, 2023
Hemp-sprouts are emerging as a new class of attractive functional food due to their numerous health benefits when compared to other sprout species. Indeed, the high content of beneficial components including polyphenols and flavonoids makes this type of food a promising and successful market.

Microbiological analysis of seed sprouts in Norway

International Journal of Food Microbiology, 2002
As part of larger survey of microbial contamination of fruits and vegetables in Norway, four different sprouted seed products were analysed for bacterial and parasitic contaminants (n = 300 for bacterial analyses and n = from 17 to 171 for parasite analyses, depending on parasite).

Experimental Analysis of Super-Seeding in BitTorrent

2008 IEEE International Conference on Communications, 2008
With the popularity of BitTorrent, improving its performance has been an active research area. Super-seeding, a special upload policy for initial seeds, improves the efficiency in producing multiple seeds and reduces the uploading cost of the initial seeders. However, the overall benefit of super seeding remains a question. In this paper, we conduct an

Spatial Pattern Analysis of Weed Seeds in the Cultivated Soil Seed Bank

The Journal of Applied Ecology, 1991
(1) Spatial pattern of weeds was analysed in an arable-soil seed bank after winter barley. Three hundred samples were taken in a 7-5 x 10m area. Three indices of dispersion (variance-to-mean ratio, Lloyd's mean crowding and Lloyd's patchiness) and the Moran's I statistic of spatial autocorrelation were calculated.

Molecular genetic analysis of Arabidopsis seed quality.

2011
Improvement of seed quality may greatly benefit from the characterization of genes involved in seed development and seed germination. To study the effect of genes on seed quality, a comparison was made among genetically different lines. Ideally, the genetic difference should be known at the DNA sequence level.

MORPHOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF RUBUS SEED

Acta Horticulturae, 2008
The genus Rubus exhibits morphological diversity and a wide range of reproductive systems and habitats. We examined seed coat ultrastructural morphology of seed accessions of 10 subgenera preserved at the US Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, National Clonal Germplasm Repository (NCGR), Corvallis, Oregon, using scanning electron ...

Cloud-Seeding Analysis in Oregon *

Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society, 1953
Two separate evaluations of commercial cloud-seeding operations in Oregon are discussed using the regression method with non-seeded control areas. No supporting evidence that cloud-seeding materially increased precipitation is found. On the other hand, strongest evidence found in these analyses of possible precipitation modification which could be ...
