Genotype by Environment Interaction of Cotton Genotypes for Seed Cotton Yield in Zambia
Cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) is an important cash crop in Zambia. The national seed cotton yield (SCY) per hectare ranges from 200-500 kg/ ha as compared to the potential of up to 2500 kg/ ha. Understanding the specific performance of several genotypes across different environments is an option, which may maximize specific genotypic performance.

Genotype × Environmental Interaction on Seed Cotton Yield and Yield Components
Cotton yield and fibre quality parameters are dependent on the environment in which the crop is grown. A major challenge in crop genotype recommendations is genotype × environment interaction. The identification of cultivars with high adaptability and stability is one of the best ways to address this challenge.

Effect of cotton seed size and seeding density on cotton growth, development, and yield
AbstractInterest in cotton seed size and seeding density exists due to increased seeding cost and overall decreased seed size of cotton varieties. An experiment was conducted in 2019 and 2020 in Jackson, TN, Starkville, MS, and Brooksville, MS, to determine the impact of seed size, seeding density, and variety on cotton plant development and yield ...
