Economic Evaluation of Soybean Fungicide Seed Treatments [PDF]
The effect of nine different fungicide seed treatments for soybeans were tested from 2004 to 2007 at Keiser, Stuttgart, and Hope, Arkansas. While seedling emergence was effective across all treatments, only three treatments showed statistically ...

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

Methods to improve antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) treatment durability in cancer therapy are needed. We utilized ADCs and immune‐stimulating antibody conjugates (ISACs), which are made from two non‐competitive antibodies, to enhance the entry of toxic payloads into cancer cells and deliver immunostimulatory agents into immune cells.

PRESENT STATE AND POSSIBILITIES OF MAIZE HYBRIDS SEED PRODUCTION WITH THE REVIEW ON THE EXPORT [PDF]
The present seed production of maize in the Republic of Croatia is reduced in relation to the period before the Patriotic War. Production of maize seed in Croatia was between 14,000 and 21,000 tons yearly in the period from 1981 to 1986. It was reduced

Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...

Improving the Availability of Organic Forage Seed in Wales [PDF]
The EU regulation requiring organic farmers to use 100% organic herbage seed is looming closer. Currently they are ‘enjoying’ a derogation from this because suitable seed is not available. For 2004 seeds mixtures had to contain at least 50% organic seed.
