The aim of the study was to analyze pepper seedling growth on five substrates containing soil and lubricum. Soil content in the substrates ranged from 50 to 90%. Lubricum content ranged from 10 to 50%. The content of the control substrate was entirely soil.

Agar‐Based Optical Sensing System With a Phosphorescent Grid Pattern for Measuring Stress Distributions of Root Growth Using the Sampling Moiré Method

This paper presents an agar medium with a phosphorescent grid pattern that measures the stress distribution generated by growing plant roots. Using phosphorescence, the system optically separates the grid pattern from the root and extracts the grid deformation.

Conformable Ferrimagnetic Tattoo Electrodes for Plant Electrophysiology

The newly developed ferrimagnetic tattoo electrode is capable of measuring plant electrophysiological activity outside the Faraday cage. Its ability to adhere without damaging the plant tissue allows long‐term recordings. This premise opens new avenues for in‐field monitoring of plant health through electrophysiology.
