Bench‐to‐Bedside Translation of Self‐Healing Colloidal Hydrogels as Next Generation Design of Flowable Hemostatic Matrix: From Preclinical Evaluation to Human Clinical Trials

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Self‐healing materials represent a paradigm shift in designing functional biomedical devices for drug delivery, tissue regeneration, and 3D bioprinting. However, their clinical translation remains limited by challenges such as insufficient mechanical strength, potential cytotoxicity from chemical modifications, and complex activation ...

Bioinspired Hierarchical Architecture with Water Transport Channels for Strong Adhesion at the Sweating Interface

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
To address adhesion failure in sweaty epidermal electronics, this study proposes a cross‐species, multi‐scale biomimetic interface. By modeling staged wet adhesion, it integrates self‐regulating liquid bridges with directional drainage. This design ensures stable, high‐performance flexible sensing in complex physiological environments, offering a ...

Soil Solution Analysis With Untargeted GC–MS—A Case Study With Different Lysimeter Types

open access: yesFrontiers in Earth Science, 2021
Surface-sourced organic compounds in infiltrating waters and percolates are transformed during their belowground passage. Biotic and abiotic processes thereby lead to continuously changing chemical environments in subsurface compartments.

Pellet Printing for Soft Robotic Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Fused Granulate Fabrication (FGF) is established here as a reliable method for fabricating soft, airtight robotic devices. Through coordinated optimization of hardware, material selection, and process parameters, this approach enables high‐speed printing of thermoplastic elastomers with silicone‐like softness and modulus.

Biolipid Film‐Fused Electrochemiluminescence for Multipurpose In Situ Bioassays

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An ECL‐emissive, membrane‐interactive scaffold was fabricated, and facilely fused with natural and non‐native phospholipids into multifactorial mimicries of cytomembranes and vesicles for in vitro representative membrane‐process probing. Such a biointerface‐based, state‐sensitive ECL paradigm not only pinpointed proximal phenomena, including channeling

Centrifugal model tests on sinking and seepage of a large deep-water open caisson

open access: yesYantu gongcheng xuebao, 2020
Based on a largest deep-water open caisson, the centrifuge model tests simulate the seepage field caused by mud suction during sinking when the caisson is buried more than 35 m deep.

Quantification and Characterization of Leakage Errors

open access: yes, 2017
We present a general framework for the quantification and characterization of leakage errors that result when a quantum system is encoded in the subspace of a larger system.
