Niche expansion of capuchin monkeys to forest floor on guild‐reduced islands increases interspecific spatio‐temporal overlap

On an island system with reduced guilds, capuchin monkeys exhibit high levels of terrestriality and localized tool use, which may have consequences for sympatric species with shared diets. Here we used camera traps to assess the degree of spatio‐temporal overlap between capuchins and agoutis at a site with predators and two islands with reduced guilds.
