With the advancement of coal mining technology driving the development of working faces toward increased mining heights and extended lengths, the enlargement of face dimensions has led to expanded overlying strata failure zones and intensified ground pressure manifestations. Consequently, traditional methods for determining hydraulic support resistance

Carbonates from Santos Basin revealed U–Pb ages correlated with basalt ages (A), suggesting that they were formed during magmatic events. These events placed hot CO2 in the reservoir, which, when mixed with carbonate‐rich cold water (B), led to thermal convection, enabling the formation of the U contained in the carbonates.

Seismic Behavior of Persian Brick Arches
The application of arch structural form in Iran goes back to as far as thousands of years ago. Arch is a fundamental component of Iranian architecture. Other structural systems such as vaults and domes are indeed derived from arch. In the present study, the stability of various Iranian arches with regards to weight, surcharge and earthquake has been ...

ABSTRACT The Mediterranean is particularly sensitive to rapid climate changes (RCCs) during the Holocene. An increasing number of natural climate archives revealed that socio‐economic developments were influenced by such RCCs since the Palaeolithic. However, multi‐millennial and high‐resolution archives are still rare and often located in mountainous ...

Laser Stabilized to a Fiber Interferometer With Close‐To‐Zero Temperature Sensitivity
A laser stabilized to a hollow‐core fibre interferometer is presented. The interferometer is designed to have near‐zero temperature phase‐sensitivity. Laser stabilized to this interferometer put in a non‐vacuum environment achieves ±550 kHz frequency variation over 100 h and an Allan deviation of 2 × 10−14τ, which is comparable to miniature ULE ...
