Seismic Excitation of the Chandler Wobble
1970Results from the elasticity theory of dislocations as well as observational evidence are presented in support of the hypothesis of seismic excitation of the Chandler wobble. There appears to be a high degree of correlation between changes in the pole path and earthquakes with M > 7.5 in the 11 year period from 1957.0 to 1968.0.

Fiber Optic Seismic Excitation Modeling
