This study reveals the failure evolution characteristics of deep cross‐fault roadway surrounding rock under excavation support and periodic weighting. Periodic weighting readily induces fault activation, with the spatial distribution of failed rock masses being controlled by the fault strike and dip.

A Probabilistic Risk Analysis for Taipei Seismic Hazards: An Application of HAZ-Taiwan with its Pre-processor and Post-processor [PDF]
This paper employs probabilistic risk analysis to estimate exceedance probability curves, average annual loss (AAL) and probable maximum loss (PML) for seismic hazards.

An Examination of Subsidence in North-East England due to the Dissolution of Sub-Surface Gypsum using the Shallow Seismic Reflection Technique [PDF]
Along a narrow swath from Nottingham through to Hartlepool, broad shallow depressions up to 100m in diameter and, more rarely, scarp-edged subsidence hollows are observed.

This study presents an integrated workflow to evaluate secure and large‐scale CO2 storage in depleted oil reservoirs of the Cambay Basin, India. Industrial CO2 sources are systematically matched with mature oil fields using a quantitative source–sink framework to minimize transport distance and cost.

Street-view building structural type recognition based on an enhanced YOLO11 network
The structural type of a building, which reflects its primary load-bearing system, is a key determinant of seismic performance and risk assessment. Accurate and scalable identification of seismic building structural types (SBST) is therefore critical for

Seismic hazard of the Granada fault [PDF]
The City of Granada is placed at the margin of a flat area known as the Granada Basin (Betic Cordillera, SE Spain) surrounded by mountains. The seismic activity in the Granada Basin is high, with a large number of earthquakes, all of them of moderate to low magnitude (Mb≤5.5).
