From wells to windmills: Resource redeployment and new technology investment in the energy sector
Strategic Management Journal, Volume 47, Issue 2, Page 616-642, February 2026.Abstract Research Summary This study examines how multi‐business firms redeploy resources following an industry shock. Using the case of oil and gas firms diversified into wind power, I show that firms reduced expenditure in oil and gas—particularly on complex offshore projects—while increasing investment in wind after the 2014 oil price crash.

Modeling Geoid and Dynamic Topography From Tomography‐Based Thermo‐Chemical Mantle Convection
Journal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth, Volume 131, Issue 2, February 2026.Abstract Mantle convection causes the most important contribution to the geoid and dynamic topography. With mantle density inferred from high‐resolution tomography models and numerical methods solving the governing equations of viscous mantle flow, the modeled geoid can fit the observations well.
