Seismic stratigraphy of Chinese loess
Quaternary Science Reviews, 1993Abstract A loess section near Lanzhou, China, has been investigated using the seismic refraction technique. The results show that the method is able to discriminate four distinct seismic boundaries within the section as well as indicating that the loess-bedrock contact occurs at a depth of more than 200 m.

Seismic Stratigraphy of Sedimentary Cover
2018Three major unconformities (Regional pre-Miocene, Early Eocene, post-Campanian) are regionally traced in the depressions of the Eurasian Basin. They are dated either by well data (ACEX IODP 302 on the Lomonosov Ridge), or by correlation of their onlaps on acoustic basement with the nearest identifiable linear magnetic anomaly.
