NON-INTRUSIVE AND NON-CONTACT SLEEP MONITORING WITH SEISMOMETER
IEEE Global Conference on Signal and Information Processing, 2018Monitoring sleep quality and status is important to learn health condition for improvement and prevent sleep apnea. A bed-mounted seismometer system is proposed to monitor the heart and respiratory rates, and body movement and posture, during the sleep ...

Subtracting Tilt from a Horizontal Seismometer Using a Ground‐Rotation Sensor
, 2017We demonstrate the use of a high‐precision ground‐rotation sensor to subtract wind‐induced tilt noise in a horizontal broadband seismometer at frequencies above 10 mHz. The measurement was carried out at the LIGO Hanford Observatory using a low‐frequency

The determination of seismometer damping [PDF]
a4bstract Eaton's method of determining the seismometer damping is extended, in order to make it more easily applicable to any value of period and damping. The theory of the seismometer response to the release test is developed, showing that, for the application of this method, both release and tapping tests are equivalent.

Instrument noise in seismometers
Bulletin of the Seismological Society of America, 1961Abstract Methods are developed to analyze the effects of thermal noise and seismic noise in masking small earth vibrations. The procedure is applied to a simple seismometer, seismometers with electronic and galvanometer amplifiers, and a seismometer with a shunt capacity.

Seismometer San Francisco California
2020Seismometer is an instrument used to recognize, record seismic waves.Seismic waves are spreading vibrations that convey vitality from the wellspring of a tremor outward every which way. They travel through the inside of the Earth and can be estimated with touchy indicators called seismographs.Seismometer San Francisco California researchers have ...

Universal Piezoelectric Seismometer
Seismic Instruments, 2020A universal piezoelectric seismometer is proposed that can simultaneously record linear and angular accelerations through two separate channels. The operational principle of the seismometer and the features of its design are described; the mechanical and electric circuits are considered.

Seismometer Brisbane Australia
2020Present day seismometers are sufficiently exact to enlist even the smallest ground developments of just a couple nanometres. In different words, of a millionth of a millimeter. The quality of the tremor is resolved from the deliberate amplitudes and the separation to the hypocentre of the seismic tremor.
