Understanding the immunomodulatory properties of silver nanocubes (AgNCs) and gold nanocages (AuNCs) is essential for the cancer nanovaccines. This study shows that following intramuscular immunization of AgNC–ovalbumin (OVA) and AuNC–OVA, humoral responses and cellular responses are not strong enough to elicit any antitumor immunity.
