Etude chimiosystematique des lycopodiales, isoetales, selaginellales et psilotales

Biochemical Systematics and Ecology, 1978
Abstract A chemosystematic survey has been made of the flavonoids in the three orders of Lycopsida (Lycopodiales, Isoetales, Selaginellales), and of the single order of Psilotopsida (Psilotales). On the basis of the flavonoid patterns observed, a phylogenetic scheme is proposed for these taxa and their origin from fossil Pteridophyta (Psilophytales ...

Selaginella moratii, spec. nova (Selaginellales), a remarkable new species from Central Madagascar

Plant Systematics and Evolution, 1991
Selaginella moratiiW. Hagemann & W. Rauh, spec. nova, is described. The Madagascarian plant from Fianarantsoa has a strongly differentiated subterranean rhizome system with a dichocladial mother rhizome bearing anisotomous branch systems with tufted tubers.
