Selective harmonic elimination PWM using ant colony optimization
2017 Iranian Conference on Electrical Engineering (ICEE), 2017Selective harmonic elimination pulse width modulation (SHEPWM) is a useful switching technique in multilevel inverters because of low number of switching and at the same time, high quality of output voltage waveform. The main problem in SHEPWM is finding the optimum switching angles with the aim of minimizing specific harmonics.

Selective harmonic elimination PWM technology applied in PMSMs
2012 IEEE Vehicle Power and Propulsion Conference, 2012This paper introduces selective harmonic elimination PWM (SHEPWM) technology applied in PMSMs. According to model of PMSMs, relation between harmonic currents and voltages is derived. From this relation, selection principle of SHEPWM is different for salient pole PMSMs and non-salient pole PMSMs.
