Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Recurrent selection of popcorn composites UEMCO1 and UEM-CO2 based on selection indices [PDF]
Selection indices were applied to data sets of 169 half-sib families of the popcorn composites UEM-Co1 and UEM-Co2 in four cycles of recurrent selection.

Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

Fire and heat resistant laminating resins based on maleimido substituted aromatic cyclotriphosphazene polymer [PDF]
4-Aminophenoxy cyclotriphosphazenes are reacted with maleic anhydride to produce maleamic acids which are converted to the maleimides. The maleimides are polymerized. By selection of starting materials (e.g., hexakis amino or trisaminophenoxy trisphenoxy

Robust fuzzy PSS design using ABC [PDF]
This paper presents an Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) algorithm to tune optimal rule-base of a Fuzzy Power System Stabilizer (FPSS) which leads to damp low frequency oscillation following disturbances in power systems. Thus, extraction of an appropriate set

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Analysis of direct and indirect selection and indices in soybean segregating populations [PDF]
Estimates of gain with selection are very useful in breeding programs to predict the success of selection. Indexbasedsimultaneous selection makes breeding more successful.

Character associations and path analysis in ground nut (Arachis hypogaea L.)
Fifty diverse groundnut genotypes were assessed for associations among various agronomic characters and also path analysis for pod yield per plant. The magnitudes of genotypic correlation coefficients were generally higher compared to the corresponding ...

Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.
